What is wellness/life coaching?

Coaching is a support system that helps clients achieve a higher level of well-being and satisfaction with life, work, or other areas they desire change and growth. In this nonjudgmental space, coaching promotes autonomous growth by facilitating the discovery of strategies for change that the client finds sustainable and useful to them personally. Coaches do not push any personal agenda on what the client "should" do, and we meet the client where they currently are at in life and act as a guide on your journey by being the support you want without the judgement you do not need. 

Can coaching replace therapy?

Coaching will never replace therapy as we focus on the present moment and path to future goals. We will acknowledge feelings and emotions, but we will never process emotions or events from the past. I will gladly help you find a provider that fits your needs if our work becomes out of my scope of practice. Coaching can be utilized to help implement strategies discussed in therapy such as implementing grounding techniques, navigating difficult situations you would encounter with others or at events, and finding structure to your life.
